JP & S

Found by Eddie Mclean in Bridgeton, Glasgow just off Springfield Road near the athlete’s village.

The village was built where the Jeanfield Brickworks used to be situated.

These brickworks were owned by John Porter & Sons.

JP & S = John Porter & Sons.

.

.

The initials could also stand for John Paterson & Son who also manufactured similar red clay bricks in Glasgow however because of the find location, Porter is the more likely manufacturer of the two.
