Fulwood Bridge Tilework, Houston, Paisley.
26/01/1849 – Glasgow Herald – Tile Work to be let – The Tilework at Fulwood Bridge, in the Parish of Houston about 4 miles west of Paisley is to be let for such a number of years as may be agreed upon. Apply to Archibald Sinclair, Factor, Deanside near Renfrew. January 1849.
1856 – 1857 – ScotlandsPlaces – A shack, with two kilns, and a portion of waste ground attached. The tiles made are chiefly used for drainage purposes.

1881 – 1885 – Invoices – Archd C Brown – Brick and Tile Works at Cleughearn, Chapelton, Hamilton; Corsehill by Kilmarnock and Fulwood, Houston.
1890 – 1891 – A letterhead for Peter Brown implies that at this time he owned or operated the following drain pipe and tile works:-
