Steven s London-Road Patent

Not sure if the additional ‘S’ is meant to be Steven’s or a separate entity with unknown meaning

William Steven, brickmaker, builder, and contractor; office, 481 London road; bouse, 483 do.; brickworks, Porter street and Society street, G. Eastern road; Mauldslie, London road; Crosshill, Cathcart Road, south side.
