Lairg Quarry and Brick Company Ltd, Sutherland, Scotland
This brick is unmarked but It is firmly believed to be a product of the Lairg Brickworks as found by Stan Wilson.
It is from the wall of the brickwork’s office building.
This would be from a date before 1947.
This one is made with fine crusher dust in it not the fine sand that was used during later years.

Found by Nick Shaw in the Dingwall area. These appear to have been manufactured from a concrete /cement mix. This company appears to have been a subsidiary of Redland Tiles Limited, Cowie and may well have operated from the same site. They manufactured cement-based roofing tiles. 27/04/1998 – Incorporated. 21/01/2011 – Dissolution date.
