These bricks were found by Denis Foulem along the Bathurst harbour seashore, located in the province of New Brunswick in Canada. It is entirely possible that the Darnley Fireclay Works were also manufacturing composite bricks from local shale or blaise waste. These bricks were found by Guillaume Girard on the banks of the Ottawa River near to Parliament Hill, Ottawa, Canada.
