Found at Castlecary Fireclay & Lime Works,Castlecary.

This brickmark was initially unidentified although it was found on Hurll premises. Following the recovery of a Hurll RB brick at Hurll’s other site at Garnqueen, I am comfortable with associating the R B mark with Hurll.

R B appears to be a Hurll mark but what does it stand for – possibly Refractory Brick? or possibly the initials of a customer?
