c. 1920’s – 1970‘s – The 1985 publication ‘A survey of Scottish brickmarks’ suggests the Ballochmyle Brick Company operated the works.

Below – 1944 – 1969 – Possible site of the Mauchline Brickworks at Ballochmyle Quarries, Mauchline. (Note – SBH – Ballochmyle Brick Company manufactured a sand/lime based brick at Knowehead Quarry, Locharbriggs, Dumfries. Perhaps the product made at Mauchline was similar).
