Goa A

Found by Ian Suddaby on the boundary of the old Bonnyside Brickworks site, Bonnybridge.

I am not in possession of this example.

The manufacturer of this brick is unknown.

The find location would suggest Scottish origins but …

Ian states – An interesting curiosity brick here, really a side arch with a thickened portion at one end. It’s not been modified, one end is stamped GOA and the other A. Brick sized though. I’ve never found anything quite like it. Might be another James Dougall product as it was found on Bonnyside Brickworks near Falkirk.

(Note – SBH – GOA may be another railway-related stamp).
