Forth – Roughcastle Firebrick Works, Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire

Gartcraig Fire Clay Works, By Millerston, Glasgow

The Forth bricks were found at one time a small seaport. It was called Shingle Bay. There appears to have been a fish processing plant there at one time.
The Gartcraig was found closer to Crofton. It had at one time a copper smelter. There are still visible remnants at low tide.
