Cruden Bay regular brick – personalised ‘Fri’

0 48

Found by Ian Suddaby at Blackburn, Aberdeenshire.

This could easily be a brick manufactured at the Cruden Bay Brick Works as per this possibility ‘Thur’

The reference to Frid and Thur  appears to refer to the days of the week and may indicate when a particular batch of bricks were manufactured or when they were due to enter the kiln for firing perhaps.
