Below – A similar stamp on what appears to be a fire brick. Found by Bill Duff in the Dundee area. These fell from a damaged chimney. (Note – SBH – I am not in possession of this fire brick variation. Should anyone know of any lying around please feel free to let me know).
The location where this brick was found is unknown. This brick forms part of a collection owned by Jason Harris in London. This example is not in my possession. Stuart, Brown & Co, Brick, Fire Clay and Tile Manufacturers, Larbert but at this time, I am not sure what the initials J.B stand for. ….
