Found by Ian Suddaby on the site of the old Dykehead Firebrick Works, Bonnybridge. This example is not in my possession. The manufacturer is unknown but considering the find site and the lack of non-Dykehead bricks found on site it is highly considered that this is a Dykehead product. This brick was found by Fred Kaesmacher in a recycling yard that stands on the site of a former sugar factory in St Kitts, Carribean. Fred states – The sugar factory was operated by the Saint Kitts Sugar Manufacturing Corporation. There was a large furnace on the site. . . . Below – ‘Dykehead’ –…
