Greenhill S

Found at near Drum Farm, Bonnybridge

Yet another badly stamped variation with the ‘G’ appearing to be oddly shaped, ‘R’ reversed and ‘N’ reversed and the ‘L’ and ‘L’  missing. The ‘S’ is also reversed or it could of course be upside down.

These bricks were likely made by the Greenhill Fireclay Works, Bonnybridge. Believed to be sited at Clayknowes and later taken over and renamed the Greenhill Fireclay Company.
