Gartcraig bricks found in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada

These bricks came from a house in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Canada. The occupier states” The fire bricks were in the fireplace of our house which I tore down. I have no idea where the fire bricks came from. It’s a bit of a mystery. I do know that in 1971 when the house was built that the contractor MacFarlane ran out of money while building our house. It’s possible they got second-hand bricks to do the fireplace to save money. This is all speculation of course.”
