Gartcraig brick found in Québec City, Canada
Found by Raymond Farlardeau at the former Hedleyville Junction Train Station what is now Limoilou in Québec City.
The train station was built in 1899 and dismantled in 1909. The exact location of the brick was were the hôtel behind the station. (See photo below)
The company was the Québec & Lac St John Railway and at that time it was located on the north shore of the St Charles River in Québec. Then in 1908, a bridge was built between the north and the south of the St Charles River, which is today known as ”the Gare du Palais” in Québec and Hedleyville Junction Train Station became redundant, hence its short life.
