Below – 03/01/1853 – Glasgow Herald –  Drumoin Brickwork at the Moss Station, Greenock Railway, about one mile and a half from the thriving Village of Govan; Two and a half miles from Renfrew, and three-quarters of a mile from Three -Mile House, Paisley Road. There is an abundant supply of clay of excellent quality, with every other requisite for carrying on the manufactory of that article. Entry immediately. Offers will be received till 12th instant. (Note – SBH – Drumoin or Drumoyne. I cannot find these works on the 1856 map but the location is very close to Craigton Brickworks so they may be one of the same).
