Found Guard Bridge.
This was found on the shoreline immediately behind the site of the old Eden Brickworks.
Found alongside many Eden bricks, broken drainage tiles and pantiles.
I have no doubt this would have been made at the works and dumped on the shore as waste/broken items or perhaps when the site was levelled.

Below – Slightly ‘oval’ tile. It is broken and as such its possible original length would have been 14 1/2 ” or longer x 2 3/4″ x 3″

Found in Dundee by Jeannie Cooper. Oversized brick. Although this is a partial I reckon the measurements to be in the region of 12″ x 5 1/2 ” x 3″ Eden Brick and Tile Works, Guard Bridge, St, Andrews, Fife. . . .
