Cleghorn Terracotta Co Glasgow VI H

Comments Off on Cleghorn Terracotta Co Glasgow VI H 7

Found in Leyden Place, Bonnyrigg in 1975 and donated by Nick Basden.

Cleghorn Brickworks, Cleghorn, Lanarkshire.

This is a shaped brick.

The Cleghorn stamp is very poorly stamped but it is most definitely a Cleghorn.

What is intersting is that the letters VI H have been stamped to the ‘rear’ and they seem to take the form of small raised dots.
