St Ninians

Found by Ian Suddaby at the Manuel Works, Whitecross.

This example is not in my possession.

This was found in a heap of dumped rubble brought in from an unknown location.

The manufacturer of this brick is unknown.

Several of these bricks were found alongside ‘Hailes’ bricks.

Hailes Estate and Quarry Co, Slateford, Edinburgh.

The St Ninians and Hailes bricks do have certain similarities in appearance so it is possible they were manufactured by Hailes.

St Ninians is an area located near Stirling, Scotland.
