Below – 26/04/1822 – Glasgow Herald  – The Netherton Quarry on the Estate of Garscube, five miles from Glasgow and close to the Great Canal is to be let for such a term of years as can be agreed upon … There is also a brickfield adjacent to the quarry which will be let to the tackman of the quarry if required for the ensuing season … Application may be made to William Cranston, mason at Harley Baths … Mr William Robertson, overseer at Garscube, will show the premises.
