Found by Ian Suddaby in a river just outside Edinburgh.

I am not in possession of this example.

This looks like a piece of broken stove lining.

The manufacturer is unknown.

The find location would suggest Scottish origins but …

Other similar examples show the stamp as an abbreviation of the trade name given to the particular stove the lining was designed for.

One possibility is that this stove lining was manufactured in Scotland for the Minerva Bergstrom Bros. & Co, Neena, Wisconsin, USA. They manufactured stoves, certainly around the late 1800’s.
