Found by Harley Plowman an old 1800s hotel site in New Zealand. Cardowan Fire Clay Works, Stepps, Glasgow. Note the thumbprint. Note the upside-down ‘W’. . .
Found by Eddie McLean in the Glasgow area. James Goldie and Son, Westholm or Westthorn Brickworks, Glasgow. The ‘Goldie’ stamp comprises of raised letters. This stamp has however been stamped over a Jas Goldie & Son, Old Langside Road, Glasgow 1885. This brick is frogged to both sides. . . .
