Hand scooped out frog
Found by TM in Caldercruix –
Quite a number were on a pallet. It looks modern but the frog looks to have been scooped out by hand. Why !
Unidentified maker.
Find location would suggest Scottish origins but….

Below – the underside appears to have marks of straw, vegetation etc from where it was left drying prior to firing.
