Glenboig 101M and Glenboig 4?5 M
Found at Glenboig Union Fireclay Works by my dad Bill Cranston.
So does anyone know what these were for? – funnelling hot gases?
Glenboig Union Fireclay Company, Glenboig, Lanarkshire.

Below – 2 x Glenboig 101M – the left hand hexagonal item below also has a letter ‘T’ stamped at the top.
Widest – 8 1/2 “, each side 3 1/2″ and 2 1/2” deep

Below – Glenboig 4?5 M – possibly 405M
15 1/2 ” long, widest at left end looking at pic below 5 1/4″ and widest at right end looking at pic below 5 1/2″

The above items were found at the bottom of a pile of similar but broken items and debris and it appears they are designed to fit together as per below.

Below – I found another 2 of these hexagonal rings and a similar but shorter ‘pipe’ at the same locus. This ‘pipe’ is 11 4/5″ long.
