Extruded cored brick
Found In Glasgow.
Unknown manufacturer.
Find location would suggest Scottish origins but…..
There are 2 cores that run horizontally through the brick – approximately 1″ in diameter.
This could be a cored brick or indeed a drain brick.
Note the striations created as the column of extruded clay was pushed along a slide prior to being cut to size.
