Cityside Brick, Pipe and Fireclay Works, Bellside, Glasgow.
This Cityside Glasgow brick was found by Asley Gerónimo, Oscar Sánchez and Osvaldo Jimenez. They found the brick in a cemetery of an old sugar mill in Havana, Cuba.
Osvaldo states – “The Mi Rosa sugar mill where it was found is located in the municipality Quivicán, Mayabeque province and is dated on the second half of the 19th century. I am attaching another picture dated at the end of the 19th century. It shows the house of the owners of the facility”.

This brick is in the possession of Kent Murray and a label attached to it states ‘The Adolphus William Copper Mine 1870 – 1879? It is a fireclay circle brick and shows some lovely ‘kiss marks’. Cumbernauld Fireclay Works, Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire. . . .
