Blackpots Tileworks, Whitehills, Banff.
This looks like some sort of tile, possibly a roof tile. A peg or flat roof tile. The section between the ‘L’ and ‘T’ of the Blackpots mark appears to be purposely indented by a couple of mm’s. Perhaps this ridge was used to assist the positioning on a wooden tie or support strap.
It is approximately 25 mm thick.
