This brick was found in a skip in George IV Bridge, Edinburgh by Nick Basden. It is believed to have been removed during a renovation of the George IV bar, 54 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh.
The brick is oversized measuring 12 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ x 3 3/4″.
It has a thumb impression to one end.
It is unmarked.
Find location would suggest Scottish origins but……
