Found on the site of the old Manuel Brickworks, Whitecross.
The manufacturer is unknown as the only stamp on this brick is the hand-applied black lettering – LAB.
It is marked twice.
This was a product that was likely chosen and marked for analysis at the on-site laboratory.
Although the manufacturer is unknown it is highly likely it was manufactured on site.
