27/06/1845 – Kelso Chronicle – Marriages – At Gavinton, Berwickshire on 16th inst by the Rev Dr Brown, Free church, Mr Thomas Fisher, Kames Tileworks to Miss Mary Anne Spence eldest daughter of Mr John Spence, Gavinton.

23/11/1849 – Kelso Chronicle – Kames Tileworks – The public is informed that the various sizes of drain tiles and pipes made at these works are now on sale, of excellent quality and at moderate prices. 14/11/1849.

21/09/1855 – Kelso Chronicle – To be sold by public roup on Wednesday 17th October next. The whole materials connected with the tilework at Kames. Particulars in a future advertisement. Ploughland 18/09/1855

1856 – 1858 – ScotlandsPlaces – Graden Hill. An elevated portion of good arable land a short distance North of “Leitholm” and at the Southwest end of which there was recently, a brick and tile works, but which has been discontinued, It is the property of John Hood Esqr “Stoneridge”.

04/07/1867 – Southern Reporter – Death – At Kames Tileworks, Leitholm on the 17 ults, suddenly Mr Robert Watt.
