Below – 26/04/1847 – Glasgow Herald – Bricks and brickmakers implements by auction. Mr Keith has been instructed by Messrs Bennie and Davidson to sell by public roup at Gushetfauld, near Govan Iron Works on Tuesday the 27th current.  The whole of the circular bricks and the brick making implements consisting of tables, planks, barrows, trestles, sludge pump, iron harp, kiln ladder, spades, shovels, moulds &c, together with an excellent Puggemill (Pugmill).
