1878  –  Miller & Young, Pottery Manufacturers, Garngad Hill, Glasgow. (Note – SBH – connected – probably not?).

11/03/1880 – Glasgow Evening Citizen – Coal ree, stable and yard to let in Garngad Road. Good position. Apply John Lochhead, Brickwork, Garngad Hill. (Note – SBH – Is Garngad Hill the same brickworks as Garngad? Perhaps this was teh original name for the site?)

Below – 1896 – Blochairn Quarry which was later renamed, Garngad Quarry.

1904 – 1905 – John Dodds, moulding sand, ground fireclay and composition brick maker, 470 Garngad Road; Ho, 575 Alexandra Parade, Glasgow.

1907 – John Dodds, fire brick manufacturer and manufacturer of fireclay goods, 470 Garngad Road, Glasgow.

Below – 1910 – Garngad Quarry. The Brickworks were up and running but they are not marked.

Below – 1933 – Garngad Brickworks.

1936 – 1937 – Garngad Brick & Sand Co. Ltd., brickmakers and Sand quarries, 460-470 Garngad Road, N; Tel. No., Bell 2994.
