Etna and Gartcraig bricks found on the Black River, Nova Scotia Canada

Found by Chris Spencer on the Black River, Nova Scotia Canada. Chris says “the location is very rural, mostly wooded, dirt road. The home that is here had a shingle mill years ago but that consisted of a rough lean to and a motor from a bus to run the machinery. The nearest industry would be over ten kms away.”

ETNA and Gartcraig bricks – both appear to be fire / refractory bricks.
