15/5/1875 – Alloa Advertiser – Mr James McLachlan was commenced business as a china merchant in the shop in Mill Street lately occupied by Mr Ramsay who has now commenced as a brick and tile maker at Devonshaw near Dollar (Could this be Devonside?)
