Scotland's Brick and Tile Manufacturing Industry

1845 – 1849 – ScotlandsPlaces – Culmore Tileworks. A large manufactory of bricks and tiles but chiefly tile work. The buildings are in good repair. About 10 persons including men and boys are generally employed in the works. It is situated on the farm of Culmore, the property of Major Maitland.
