Bonnybridge bricks found in Iran

Found by Reza Hossein at “the old British camp in the foothills of Dehloran City, Iran which is related to the first concession and exploration of oil in Iran”.

Reza states – The Darcy concession, the first oil contract in the history of Iran, was signed more than 110 years ago between the Iranian government and William Knox Darcy, an Australian citizen of Britain who introduced himself as a mining engineer. In this place which is called Bitumen or English Camp, after a century I saw some works, one of which was a firebrick with the Bonny Bridge mark.
