Found by Eddie McLean at Glenboig.

This was found at part of the old Glenboig Union Fireclay works. It formed part of a structure where a line of Glenboig fire bricks had been used. This was in the middle of the row and as such is believed to be a Glenboig product although this is not confirmed.

Glenboig Union Fireclay Company, Glenboig, Lanarkshire.

Alternative brickworks include:

  • Glenboig Star Fireclay Works, Glenboig, Lanarkshire.
  • Glenboig Fireclay Works, (Old Works) Glenboig, Lanarkshire
