Find location would suggest Scottish origins but….
This may well be a Roughcastle product.
Note the thumb print to top right.
This is however very possibly another Scottish brick manufactured for an overseas customer and stamped with their name.
Found by Michèle Côté and Marc Trudel on the beach along the Gaspé shore of Percé, Québec Canada. The ‘Gartcraig’ brick is most definitely Scottish.
