Drain pipe and joint supports

Drain pipe and joint supports.

Manufacturer unknown but almost undoubtedly Scottish.

The joint supports are basically a section of larger pipe in which the 2 drain pipe ends with sit and butt up to each other. The idea is this prevents the end of the drains moving apart in the ground and thus allowing soil to fall in and block the pipe.

Below – Drainage pipe 15″ long x  2 3/4″ diameter. Joint supports measure 3″ base x 4″ widest x 4″ high
