Found on the shore at Troon, Ayrshire.
Fireclay stopper measuring 4 1/2″, 4 3/4″ diam at widest and 3 1/2″ diam at narrowest.
It has the letter ‘D’ stamped on the bottom – It was found not too far from the Douglas Fireclay Works and therefore could be a product of theirs.
