Cored brick with lifting tool marks

This brick was found at Dundee.

It is cored and I have absolutely no idea who made it.

I have saved it though as it shows that a staggered 4 pronged tool was used for lifting it while ‘green’.

Look at the middle row of holes.

The 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th holes have been enlarged when a 4 pronged fork or grape has been inserted and the brick lifted and moved.

Below – Note the reverse side is unmarked.
