Found at the Stein Manuel Works, Whitecross.
There may have been another line of words etc under the BM Scotch.
I have several bricks marked BM Scotch which have a Sankey, London and Castlecary Fireclay & Lime Works,Castlecary, Stirlingshire connection.
It is likely this is another Weir Castlecary product manufactured for Sankey London but there is always the possibility due to the find location that it is a John Stein product.

Many thanks to Bruce MacDonald for the following photographs which were taken at The Sunbury Plantation House, St Philip Parish Barbados. All the bricks present were fire bricks and included English manufacturers such as Ruffors of Stourbridge, Cowen of Newcastle and Duddell of Fenton. 90% of the bricks present appear to have been stamped ‘Glenboig’….
